Most Gaza UNRWA Staff are Hamas Supporters

from Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the Freedom Center, is a New York writer focusing on radical Islam. He is completing a book on the international challenges America faces in the 21st century.

A little basic context for all the stories about UNRWA schools being shelled and rockets being found in UNRWA schools. There’s a perfectly good reason for that.

Most UNRWA employees in Gaza are local Hamas supporters.

Palestinians employed by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency, the U.N.’s  main aid arm in Gaza, elected candidates affiliated with the terror group Hamas to 25 out of 27 seats on a union board that represents ten thousand UNRWA workers.

That’s not a big surprise to the UNRWA which knows quite well who runs things in Gaza.
